Underslung – Double Girder Crane
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
If you require an underslung crane system for an application where the available headroom is limited, then LOADMATE Underslung Crane – Double Girder model could be the ideal solution. It is a hybrid variant of conventional Double Girder Crane and a single girder underslung crane.
This model is highly appreciated for optimum lifting capacity and has proved highly useful in workplaces where there is a low-level ceiling or where the distance between the hoist and floor needs to be maximized. With this model, the selective span advantage of the underslung crane and the low headroom advantage of the double girder crane is summed up. i.e., you get a short headroom crane with a span of your choice. This added benefit comes with limitations of reduced side approaches. Unlike the single girder underslung crane, the double girder variant cannot have an overhung of the main girder.
LOADMATE designs and produces a solution that perfectly fits the task in hand after carefully taking into consideration the details of the lifting application. As per the demands of our valuable clients, we can offer a customized feature like including floodlights and walkways.

FAQS
How is a heavy-duty underslung crane different from other cranes?
A heavy-duty underslung crane is designed to handle large and heavy loads. Its robust construction, combined with a powerful hoisting system, enables it to lift and transport heavy materials with precision and stability. This type of crane is often used in industries such as steel manufacturing, construction, and heavy equipment handling, where lifting heavy items is a regular part of the operation.
What industries typically use a Double Girder Underslung Crane?
A double girder underslung crane is commonly used in industries where efficient use of overhead space is important. These include the automotive industry, steel production, power plants, and warehouses. The crane's design makes it suitable for operations that require both high lifting capacities and limited space, such as in high-bay warehouses or areas with low ceiling heights.
Can a heavy-duty underslung crane be customized to suit specific needs?
Yes, heavy-duty underslung cranes can be customized based on your specific requirements. Customization options include load capacity, span length, lifting height, and control systems. Loadmate offers tailored solutions that ensure your crane fits seamlessly with your existing infrastructure and meets the demands of your operations, regardless of how heavy or complex the load.
What are the benefits of using a double girder underslung crane?
Among the several benefits of a double girder underslung crane are more lifting capacity, effective space use, and more stability. Its layout lets it run in settings with little headroom, therefore optimizing the available space in a building. Greater load management and less risk of load sway: this kind of crane also helps to guarantee safer and more effective operations.
How do I determine the right heavy-duty underslung crane for my operations?
The weight of the cargo to be raised, the crane's span, and the available headroom in your facility will all influence your choice of heavy-duty underslung crane. Additionally crucial is assessing the frequency of use and whether any particular environmental condition (such as humidity or temperature) might influence crane performance. Loadmate provides advice to help evaluate these elements and choose the best crane for your requirements.
