Overview

Double Girder Underslung Crane.

The Double Girder Underslung Crane keeps the headroom-saving, runway-sharing benefits of underslung running while adding the capacity and span of two girders. The crab runs between the girders for higher hook height within the underslung layout.

It handles medium-to-heavy duty up to ~25 tonnes over longer spans, designed to IS 3177 / IS 807 — for plants that need heavier roof-suspended handling.

Advantages

Why a LOADMATE underslung double.

Higher capacity, still roof-hung

Two girders carry heavier loads while keeping the headroom and runway-sharing benefits.

Greater hook height

The crab runs between the girders for more lift than a single-girder underslung.

Longer spans

Suited to wider bays needing heavier handling.

Shared runways

Adjacent bays can still share the suspended runway columns.

Flexible heavy handling

Cross-bay transfer of heavier loads in low-headroom buildings.

Built & tested in-house

Designed to IS 3177 / 807, load-tested at 125% of SWL.

Configurations

Two ways to specify it.

Standard double-girder underslung

Two girders with a crab for higher capacity in a roof-suspended layout.

Best for: Heavier production and process bays.

Long-span / heavy-duty

Reinforced for wider spans and higher duty cycles within the underslung format.

Best for: Wide bays and higher-frequency handling.

Standards & compliance

Designed and certified to published standards.

IS 3177

Code of practice for EOT cranes

Design, construction, testing & operation of EOT cranes up to 50 t.

IS 807

Structural design of cranes

Design, manufacture, erection & testing of crane structures.

IS 4137

Heavy-duty EOT cranes

Heavy-duty M7 / M8 applications reference this standard.

ISO 9001 + ZED

Quality & manufacturing

ISO 9001:2015 certified plus Government of India ZED Gold tier.

FAQs

Underslung Double — technical questions.

How is this different from the single-girder underslung?

Two girders give higher capacity (up to ~25 t), longer spans and greater hook height, while keeping the headroom-saving, roof-suspended running.

What capacity can you supply?

Medium-to-heavy duty up to about 25 tonnes. For more, a top-running double-girder EOT crane is recommended.

Does it still save headroom?

Yes — it runs on the runway bottom flange, so the headroom and runway-sharing benefits of underslung running are retained.

Which standards apply?

IS 3177 and IS 807, with ISO 9001:2015 and ZED Gold certification, and a 125% load test.

Can adjacent bays share the runway?

Yes — the suspended runway can be shared across bays for cross-bay transfer.

Indoor or outdoor?

Primarily indoor; outdoor execution with weatherproofing on request.
