Overview

Electric Travelling Trolley.

The Electric Travelling Trolley moves the hoist along the beam under power, giving fast, smooth, controlled travel for heavier loads and frequent duty. A TEFC geared motor with a fail-safe brake drives forged, machined wheels.

Capacities up to 50 tonnes, with two-speed or VFD travel for precise positioning and minimal load sway, and the track adjustable to your beam flange.

Advantages

Why a LOADMATE electric trolley.

Powered, low-effort travel

Motorised movement removes operator effort, even with heavy loads.

Fast & smooth

Two-speed or VFD travel gives quick, controlled positioning with minimal sway.

Heavier loads

Handles 1 to 20 tonnes for regular and heavy-duty traverse.

Long beams

Suited to moving loads across the full length of a bay.

Safe on the beam

Anti-drop / anti-tilt plates, buffers and end stops.

Crane-duty build

TEFC motor, fail-safe brake and forged wheels for continuous service.

Configurations

Two ways to specify it.

Single-speed

Fixed-speed motorised travel — simple and economical.

Best for: Regular traverse where one speed is adequate.

Two-speed / VFD

Dual or stepless travel for precise spotting and minimal load sway.

Best for: Frequent, heavy or precision positioning.

Standards & compliance

Designed and certified to published standards.

IS 807 / 3177

Crane & component design

Travel components follow the crane design standards.

Wheels

Forged & machined

Heat-treated forged steel wheels on anti-friction bearings.

Anti-drop

Captive on the beam

Anti-drop and anti-tilt plates keep the trolley safely captive.

ISO 9001 + ZED

Quality & manufacturing

ISO 9001:2015 certified plus ZED Gold tier.

FAQs

Electric Trolley — technical questions.

What does an electric trolley do?

It carries the hoist along the beam under power — fast, smooth, low-effort travel for heavier loads and frequent duty.

What capacity does it cover?

0.5 to 50 tonnes. Send your load, beam and travel distance and we’ll size it.

Single-speed or VFD?

Single-speed is economical; two-speed or VFD travel gives precise spotting and minimal load sway for heavier or frequent work.

Will it fit my beam?

Yes — the track gauge is adjustable to your I-beam or box-section flange.

Can I fit it to my existing hoist?

Usually yes — we match the trolley capacity, suspension and drive to your hoist and beam.

When is manual enough?

For short beams, light loads and occasional traverse, a manual (push or geared) trolley is the economical choice.

Need a Electric Trolley quote?
