What is an EOT crane?
An EOT (Electric Overhead Travelling) crane is a powered crane running on elevated rails along a factory bay, with a hoist travelling across its bridge girder — the standard industrial workhorse for lifting 1 to 250 tonnes indoors, built to IS 3177 and IS 807.
What is the difference between an EOT crane and a gantry crane?
An EOT crane runs on rails fixed to the building structure; a gantry (goliath) crane carries its own legs on floor-level rails, so it needs no building at all — ideal for outdoor yards.
What is the price of an EOT crane in India?
