  • Install chain spring or cushion rubber and bottom hook taken down from the old chain to load side of new chain end.

  • Takedown stopper from the no-load side.
  • Attach C-link to end chain circle.
  • Attach new chain end to  C-link.
  • Operate the hoist to the lower chain.
  • Stop lowering the chain when there is enough new chain on the load side.
  • Feed all load-side ends of the new chain into idle sheave.
  • Ensure that chain does not twist during the whole linking process when the chain end is connected to the link with the chain pin.
  • Install chain spring  or  cushion rubber and  stopper taken  down  from  the  old  chain to  no-load side  of new  chain
